(May 12, 2008) - Before he works out with the Golden State Warriors in early-June, former East Kentucky Miner Josh Pace will work out for two other NBA teams. Trio of Miners named All-CBA

(April 8, 2008) - Three East Kentucky Miners earned a spot on the annual All-CBA teams. The league announced the teams Tuesday. To be eligible, players had to have played in 24 games (one-half of the league’s 48-game regular-season schedule) and be in good standing with the CBA. MORE >>

Miners mentor Keathley remembers “Mr. Wildcat” Bill Keightley

(April 1, 2008) - Bill Keightley, the legendary longtime equipment manager for University of Kentucky basketball teams, died Monday. He was 81. Keightley, who made numerous recruiting trips to Eastern Kentucky with various UK coaches, passed away after falling while on an annual trip to watch the Cincinnati Reds’ opening game. MORE >>
