	Former EK Miner Josh Pace adds NBA invitations (May 12, 2008) - Before he works out with the Golden State Warriors in early-June, former East Kentucky Miner Josh Pace will work out for two other NBA teams. 	Miners coach Keathley serves as guest speaker for SOKY Area 3 Meet (April 22, 2008) - Rain didn’t dampen the spirit of competition Saturday during the Special Olympics Area 3 Track & Field Meet at Prestonsburg High School’s Blackcat Stadium. 	EK coach continues fight against child abuse with local mother (April 13, 2008) - Continuing his effort in the fight against child abuse, East Kentucky Miners Coach Kevin Keathley served as a guest speaker Saturday at the conclusion of a 5K Run/Walk held for Judy’s Place for Kids. MORE >>
	Trio of Miners named All-CBA (April 8, 2008) - Three East Kentucky Miners earned a spot on the annual All-CBA teams. The league announced the teams Tuesday. To be eligible, players had to have played in 24 games (one-half of the league’s 48-game regular-season schedule) and be in good standing with the CBA. MORE >>
	Miners dig deep during successful debut season (April 8, 2008) - Professional basketball made an immediate impact in Eastern Kentucky during the 2007-08 season as the East Kentucky Miners made their debut in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). 	Miners coach to throw out first pitch at 15th Region All ‘A’ Classic (April 7, 2008) - East Kentucky Miners Coach Kevin Keathley will throw out the first pitch at this year’s 15th Region All “A” Classic. Keathley will toss out the opening pitch on Thursday, April 10 in Paintsville at storied Charlie Adkins Field. MORE >>
	Miners mentor Keathley remembers “Mr. Wildcat” Bill Keightley (April 1, 2008) - Bill Keightley, the legendary longtime equipment manager for University of Kentucky basketball teams, died Monday. He was 81. Keightley, who made numerous recruiting trips to Eastern Kentucky with various UK coaches, passed away after falling while on an annual trip to watch the Cincinnati Reds’ opening game. 	Keathley to help observe National Child Abuse Prevention Month (March 26, 2008) - The Perry County office of the Kentucky Department of Protection and Permanency will hold its annual candle light vigil April 1 from 5-6 p.m. at New Hope Christian Center in Hazard in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. 	McLeish named Conference Player of the Week (March 5, 2008) - East Kentucky Miners guard Jason McLeish has been rewarded for his stellar play. McLeish, a first-year CBA player who was a standout guard at Eastern Kentucky University, claimed the CBA American Conference Player of the Week award for the week ending March 2. MORE >>
	East Kentucky racks up CBA records (March 3, 2008) - The East Kentucky Miners shattered several longtime league records, including most points scored in a game. East Kentucky established the records during a 194-115 win over visiting Atlanta. MORE >>
	Miners activate Price, deactivate Northern (Feb 29, 2008) - The East Kentucky Miners announced Thursday guard Daniel Price had been activated and added to the team’s roster. In addition to Price’s activation, East Kentucky announced guard Bryant Northern had been deactivated. MORE >>
	CNB, PMC Offering Miners Fans $2 Tickets (Feb 28, 2008) - East Kentucky is set to host Oklahoma in a pair of key late regular-season games at the East Kentucky Expo Center. The Miners will conclude the home portion of their debut season on Sunday when Atlanta visits. A pair of $2 ticket nights highlight the upcoming homestand. MORE >>
	Miners Kick-Off Merchandise Sales at Wal-Mart (Feb 25, 2008) - Members of the East Kentucky Miners professional basketball organization – including Coach Kevin Keathley, players and Diamond Girls dancers – will be present at the Pikeville Wal-Mart on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. for a meet-and-greet session with customers and fans. 	Jackson Named Conference POTW Again (Feb 20, 2008) - The Continental Basketball Association announced earlier in the week that East Kentucky Miners forward James “Boo” Jackson had earned the CBA American Conference Player of the Week award for the week ending February 17, 2008. MORE >>

Studio of Dance squads performed on the East Kentucky Expo Center hardwood Sunday when the Miners hosted the Minot SkyRockets in a CBA non-conference matchup. 	Miners bring Youth Entrepreneurship Program to East Kentucky Jan 12 - In Eastern Kentucky, tomorrow’s businesses are taking shape today. And the mold for many of the promising new business leaders is a sweet one. 	Mining City Challenge Set to Resume in Butte (January 3, 2008) –The East Kentucky Miners will take on the host Butte Daredevils Thursday, Jan. 3 and Friday, Jan. 4 at the Butte Civic Center as part of the Mining City Challenge. 	Miners Hats Set To Hit Retail Shelves Jan 2 - The CBA has announced that it has signed an agreement with Top Of the World Hat, Inc. to produce CBA brand and team hats to be sold in various retail outlets including Wal-Mart Stores. Terms of the deal include the launch of Wal-Mart stores throughout Kentucky to showcase the East Kentucky Miners, the only professional basketball team in the state. MORE >>
	Pace Considered for Player of the Week Jan 2 – East Kentucky Miners guard Josh Pace received consideration for the CBA American Conference Player of the Week honor for the week ending December 30, 2007.
