As co-owner, co-founder and chairman of Trinity Sports and Entertainment Group, Inc., the parent company of the East Kentucky Miners, Mr. Fiedler is involved in every aspect of running the Miners' business and basketball operations. He made the transition into business, and the sport of basketball, following a ten year career as a quarterback in the NFL, playing on five teams, including a five-year stint as the starter for the Miami Dolphins, where he amassed one of the highest winning percentages for a starter over that span. A graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in engineering sciences, Mr. Fiedler has always taken an active leadership role in every endeavor he has pursued. His knowledge of basketball comes from his father Ken, a legendary high school basketball coach in New York City, who won 2 NYC championships and coached players such as Norm Roberts (currently the head coach at St. John's), and Anthony Mason, a retired NBA All-Star who developed his game in the CBA before becoming a fixture in the NBA.

Mr. Fiedler currently resides in Garden City, NY, where he helps oversee Trinity's other entity, JBF Entertainment (formerly Converge Entertainment). Mr. Fiedler gives much of his time and energy to various charitable organizations, and has helped to raise over a half million dollars as a board member of the Reach for the Stars Foundation, which gives aid to people with cystic fibrosis.

Demetrius Ford has been an owner and managing director/chief executive of multiple professional basketball franchises since 2004. Before getting involved in professional sports with the 2004 purchase of the ABA Florida Pit Bulls with his partner Jay Fiedler, Mr. Ford spent over twelve years in investment banking and private equities, with experience as Chairman, President and CEO, Compliance Officer and Branch Manager.

Prior to entering the investment banking field, Mr. Ford was Executive Vice President of World Movement Records, a Southern California independent record label. In the mid-80’s he experienced success as a recording artist under the alias ‘DJ Matrix’ and released three records on his own independent label, Bad Boy Records.

Mr. Ford served in the U. S. military from 1984 to 1988 (USN), and from 1990 to 1993 (USMC), attended the Marine Corps Institute, Washington, DC, and graduated the Non-Commissioned Officer program in 1992. He earned his BA in Business Management at Barrington University.

Macy, born in Kendalville, Ind., was a two-time All-American at the University of Kentucky and played on the Wildcats' 1978 national championship team. He played three seasons at Kentucky after spending one season at Purdue. Following his collegiate career, he spent seven seasons in the NBA, playing for the Phoenix Suns (5), Chicago Bulls (1) and Indiana Pacers (1). In all seven of his NBA seasons his team qualified for the playoffs.

From 1993 through 1997, he served as the color analyst for the University of Kentucky Radio Network's broadcasts of Wildcat basketball. He has also worked with Host Creative TV, Host Communications Radio, Raycom Television Sports, Sports Channel, Mutual Radio, ESPN, WVLK-Radio and Westwood One Radio.

Macy's annual basketball camp has been held for more than 25 years and more than 1,000 youngsters and 125 coaches participate annually. He has also produced an instructional basketball video and published a high school basketball preview.

A 2001 graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Telecommunications, Brandon Paquin was an Associate Sports Agent with Ice Miller Sports Services, one of the biggest law firms in the country. Paquin was Basketball Operations Advisor with the ABA Kentucky Colonels and most recently served as the Director of Player Personnel for the CBA's Indiana Alley Cats. He has established relationships and worked closely with NBA teams such as the Indiana Pacers and Memphis Grizzles. Paquin is originally from Greencastle, Ind. He now resides in Louisville, Ky.

Steve LeMaster has over a dozen years of experience in public relations, communications and print and broadcast journalism. An Eastern Kentucky native, LeMaster has worked in public relations positions with Steve Blackburn Motorsports (2004 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Atlantic Region Champion), Kinzer Motorsports, Thunder Ridge Raceway and Willard Speedway. He has contributed to Kentucky Monthly, Kentucky Living, The Cats’ Pause, Wonderful West Virginia and numerous other publications. His work has also appeared on various Rivals.com and Scout.com websites and in newspapers throughout the Southeastern, Midwestern and Eastern United States.

The sports editor of The Floyd County Times (Prestonsburg, Ky.), LeMaster has successfully operated a freelance sports coverage service during the last eight years. He currently co-hosts a weekly one-hour sports radio show on WQHY (95.5 FM) in Prestonsburg, Ky. LeMaster has also provided color commentary on the Mountain Basketball Network during the annual Kentucky Boys’ Sweet 16 state high school basketball tournament.

Experienced on the NBA level as part of the Washington Wizards' front office, Brian Levy is a rising star in his profession. He recently worked with Monmouth Park Racetrack (Oceanport, New Jersey) in preparation for the 2008 Breeder's Cup.

He has also spent time as a high school basketball coach, individual instructor and official. His experience, combined with a strong basketball background, has proven to be an asset for the Miners organization. Levy joined the Miners from New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers University as a marketing major.

Jennifer Lopez comes to the Miners with experience in both business and education.  While working in the real estate and mortgage industries she organized a series of fundraising events to support the efforts of Coldwell Banker’s CB Cares children’s charity and other youth based community charities. With a background in education, she is dedicated to serving children and the community.  She brings a unique talent and dedication to the development of youth programming and is extremely strong in building relationships and partnerships.  She will work to bring together the Miners and local businesses in the interests of local youth and the communities of Eastern Kentucky.

Laura is a 14 year veteran member of the Kentucky Opry. Through her affiliation with the Opry organization, she was chosen as a representative for Kentucky during State’s Days Performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in 1999. She was a featured performer on Live from the Governor’s Mansion aired on KET in 2001. She has also been seen on KET during the Kentucky PRIDE Organization’s annual Envi Awards in both 2003 and 2004. Laura was the vocalist of the National Anthem for the first Inaugural Ceremony of Kentucky Governor Paul Patton. She also sang the Anthem to open the UK vs. UT basketball game at Rupp Arena.

Laura released her first independent album in Nov. 1999 titled Still Small Voice which she wrote for and co-produced with Christian record producer J.D. Miller. Laura made the finals of the 2003 Exalting Him National Christian Artist Talent Search sponsored by Daywind Records and The Trinity Broadcasting Network. Ultimately, Laura received 5th place in the nation. The competition was taped and aired internationally on TBN later during of November, December of 2003, and January and February of 2004 reaching over 90 million homes.

A 1993 University of Kentucky Graduate, Terri Mullins worked in the medical profession exclusively until 1999.  In the fall of 1999 Terri began a dual career as a road manager and business consultant for national and regional bands.  Along with time employed by two record labels in Nashville TN, Terri and her husband Tony started a promotions company, bt Media Group in Pikeville, KY and  spent most of 1999 until present active in the music industry.  bt Media Group now encompasses an independent record label and a professional recording studio.

Barb Johnson joins the East Kentucky Miners with 25 years experience in community relations, sales & marketing. As an Eastern Kentucky native, she attended Midway College and Morehead State University, where she earned degrees in Business Marketing and Education. She is also a Realtor. Barb is well known for her Community involvement with schools, sport boosters, churches and non-profit organizations.
