Miners Make Blockbuster Trade with Silverados

Oct 15, 2007 – In a monumental trade that transpired late Monday, Oct. 15, the East Kentucky Miners traded the rights to guard Dwight Jones and a 2008 3rd Round pick in the CBA Draft to the Rio Grande Valley Silverados for the rights to guard Ivan Jenkins. July 13, 2007 - Members of the East Kentucky Miners professional basketball organization visited a youth basketball camp being held at Adams Middle School in Prestonsburg, Ky., Thursday afternoon. NFL veteran Jay Fiedler and South Florida entrepreneur Demetrius Ford, co-founders of Trinity Sports and Entertainment Group, Inc., owners of the East Kentucky Miners, made an appearance at the camp.
