Miners Make Blockbuster Trade with Silverados

Oct 15, 2007 – In a monumental trade that transpired late Monday, Oct. 15, the East Kentucky Miners traded the rights to guard Dwight Jones and a 2008 3rd Round pick in the CBA Draft to the Rio Grande Valley Silverados for the rights to guard Ivan Jenkins. Q95 FM to Carry Miner Home Games

Miners front office, coach visit youth basketball camp

July 13, 2007 - Members of the East Kentucky Miners professional basketball organization visited a youth basketball camp being held at Adams Middle School in Prestonsburg, Ky., Thursday afternoon. NFL veteran Jay Fiedler and South Florida entrepreneur Demetrius Ford, co-founders of Trinity Sports and Entertainment Group, Inc., owners of the East Kentucky Miners, made an appearance at the camp.
