PIKEVILLE, KY. – East Kentucky is set to host non-conference rival Oklahoma in a pair of key late regular-season games at the East Kentucky Expo Center. Oklahoma is due to visit Kentucky for the first time in history in a series that will feature two of the CBA's four 2007-08 season expansion teams. The Miners will conclude the home portion of their debut season on Sunday when American Conference rival Atlanta visits for a regular-season finale.
A pair of $2 ticket nights highlight the upcoming East Kentucky homestand.
East Kentucky will host Citizens National Bank Night Thursday.
Pikeville Medical Center will be well-represented Friday when the Miners host Oklahoma. During Pikeville Medical Center Night on Friday, all PMC employees will gain free admission to the second and last game of the final regular-season East Kentucky-Oklahoma series.
Tip-off for each of the East Kentucky-Oklahoma games is set for 7:05 p.m. Tickets – priced at $2 apiece – are available for both matchups.
The Miners will play host to Atlanta on Sunday in a regular-season home finale. Sunday's contest is being dubbed "Black Out." All East Kentucky Miners fans are urged to wear black and support their favorite CBA team during the home game versus the Krunk.
Tip-off for the East Kentucky-Atlanta game is set for 4:05 p.m.
“The three remaining home games are pivotal,” commented East Kentucky Coach Kevin Keathley. "We're looking forward to returning to action on our home floor."
During halftime of each of the final three home games of the season, Miners fans will have the opportunity to bid on game-worn jerseys. The starting bid for each of the jerseys will be $100. Bidding will be available through halftime of Sunday's East Kentucky-Atlanta game.
Signup sheets for the auction will be available near the Miners merchandise booth at the remaining home contests.
Auction winners will be notified after Sunday’s game.
